The medical technology is a dynamic field. New developments offer great opportunities for businesses. To keep up with all these trends and innovations it is necessary for a company to interact with partners from the (bio-) medical industry, clinical settings (end user), but also with the research divisions of knowledge institutes.

Particularly within the Interregion area - roughly the triangle Eindhoven-Leuven-Aachen - there is a growing activity in medical technology. For successful  developments within this region,  cross-border cooperation with the above mentioned partners is key.

Therefore, the Foundation Interregio organized a successful series of meetings in 2005, 2006 and 2007. More recently, the Chambers of Commerce of Brabant and Limburg and the Belgium Regional Development Company  (POM) initiated a new series of meetings now  in collaboration with HemoLab Ltd (a spin off of the TU Eindhoven), Maastricht Instruments (spin off of Maastricht University), Hasselt University, LifetechLimburg.be and  LifetecZONe.
