Trade Mission to Baden-Württemberg from 28 to 30 October 2009  for companies in the sector of Bio Life Science (Biotech – Pharma – Health - Chemical industry)

 

 

 

 

 

 

exportimpulse! arranges on behalf of the EVD, agency of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, and in cooperation with the branch association BioFarmind a trade mission to Baden-Württemberg (Germany) from 28 to 30 October 2009. The EVD arranges for the financing of this mission within the frame of the CPA program (Collective Promotional Activities). The matchmaking and the program of our trade mission will be organized in Baden-Württemberg in cooperation with the biotech network Bioregio Stern.

 

This trade mission is designed for 15 specialized companies with products or services in the high-scientific biotechnology field of red biotechnology, especially in diagnostics, preventives and therapeutics.

 

 

 

 

 

Possible target groups are:

 

·         Pharmaceuticals (for specific target groups or specific genetics)

·         biopharmaceuticals (i.e., biomarkers for the chemical industry)

·         Medical biotechnology

·         Vaccine development (i.e., infectious- and autoimmune diseases as well as cancer or Aids)

·         Stem cell therapy and research

·         Tissue Engineering (cell and tissue analyses)

·         Genetic therapy (exogenous material in addition to own genetic material)

·         Lab and test instrument (test development for genetic antibodies)

·         Companies which provide contract research or test service for self-diagnosis

·         Research institutes (Research for scientific purpose, for own development or for third party)

 

During this trade mission we will arrange for individual matchmaking for participating companies with prospective corporations, strategic cooperation partners as well as networks and clusters. In addition to our individual matching services we concentrate on supporting and intensifying cross-border exchange of knowledge in the biotechnology sector. The scientific focus of this journey we try to enhance throughout a collective program  including round table discussions as well as company visits.
