Fred Bollen, the senior project director for life sciences at LIOF and chair of LifetecZONe, is leaving the development company as of March 1, 2009. Dr Bollen decided some time ago that he wanted to work independently and offer his expertise and services to business in the life sciences sector. He has been with LIOF since 2001, working in the Netherlands, Belgium and North-Rhine Westphalia, and he wants to offer the benefits of his experience, in the coming years, to the development of business strategies and planning, and to assist in the introduction of new products and services in the sector.
Dr. Bollen was the motor and chair of Life Sciences Limburg, and welcomed the cooperation between BOM, LIOF and Syntens which lead to one portal for life sciences companies in the South-East Netherlands: LifetecZONe. The LifetecZONe team wants to thank Fred for his efforts, drive and devotion to LifetecZONe and to BIOMEDICA and wish him all the best with his new company, and newest member of LifetecZONe: LifetecVision!
Fred's successor will be mrs. Ria Hein: Program Manager Business Development at North-Brabant Development Agency (BOM). She will be introduced to the members in the General Meeting on March 12, and to all in our next e-newsletter!
