Ministers to visit BIOMEDICA2008
 |
The uniqueness of our cross-border life sciences conference BIOMEDICA has attracted the attention of the Ministers of Economic Affairs and Education, Culture and Science of the Netherlands, Ministers Maria van der Hoeven and Ronald Plasterk. On April 17 they will sign a Letter of Intent during the conference, concerning cross-border cooperation in the field of science and research, technology and innovation with NordRhine-Westfalia and Flanders.
They have invited their colleagues from our neighbouring countries: Ministers Pinkwart and Thoben from NRW, and Minister Ceysens from Flanders.
At Biomedica these ministers will also visit the exhibition floor to see companies and research institutes which have developed new technologies and new products through cross-border cooperations.

Liege Image Days

The University of Liège (ULg) and its high-tech partner companies active in the field of digital imaging are organizing the first of a series of compact international conferences referred to as “Liège Image Days”.
