On February 13, 2007 the Forum MedTech Pharma and Bayern Innovativ GmbH organise the international One-on-One Cooperation Event  "MedTech-Pharma-Biotech". Life Sciences Limburg is one of the Partnering Organisations who support this event. Check out this event and register before December 15!!

 

Innovations in medical care strongly depend on the interaction of various disciplines, therefore cooperation is an essential factor, giving companies and research institutes a competitive edge. Collaboration with new partners – including those outside of the traditional value chain – can lead to the realisation

of completely novel developments and the opening up of new distribution channels and markets. This also goes for the interdisciplinary medical technology field and the pharma area that is aligned with the medical sector of the biotech industry.

• The professionally developed One-on-One concept with pre-arranged 30 minute meetings is highly successful for the initiation of targeted cooperations.

• Registered participants have the opportunity to select potential partners in advance on the basis of competence profiles and co-operation interests.

• Previously held One-on-One events (e.g. for medical engineering, microtechnology or automotive suppliers) have won international repute. Approximately 50% of the individual meetings held were rated by the participants as promising for future cooperations.

The cooperation forum ‘MedTech – Pharma – Biotech 2005’ in Regensburg, where 160 participants from 10 countries had more than 700 meetings, will be followed up this year by the cooperation event in Munich. Once again numerous companies and scientific institutes from the areas of MedTech, Pharma and Biotech are expected.
