The Bioregions Bavaria, Biovalley (Basel), Heartbeat of Life Sciences (Maastricht-Aachen) and Biosaregion (Upper Austria) have set up a knowledge transfer platform within the Interreg IIIC project Change On Borders. The project aims to exploit synergetic effects and best practices solutions between the participating regions. Within this platform a conference on “Functional Genomics International Cooperation Network” will take place in Munich on February 27 2007. Following this conference, staff exchange between companies and/or institutes within these regions will establish exchange of knowledge and technologies in several areas of Life Sciences.
